Our History

Eland Oak Primary School, the brainchild of the founding members and visionaries who have a passion for child development opened in 2020. The School sprouted from Happy Hearts Pre-School with an enrolment of 98 Early Childhood Development learners and a staff complement of seven in 2014. The Pre-school was situated at 57 Merlin Close in Waterfalls. With passage of time, the premises became inadequate to cater for the growing demand for higher grades places thus forcing the founders to look for bigger premises. Construction at the current site along Ferndale Road in Waterfalls commenced in April 2018. Lessons commenced at the new premises in January 2020. Enrolment since then has grown in leaps and bounds to the current enrolment of above 320 pupils mainly due to the pioneering parents who continued to support the vision. The School has managed to grow from the Pre-school days in 2014 to the current state due to the high levels of discipline and moral values of the pupils and unparalleled commitment to duty and the undying spirit to succeed of all staff members. This has contributed immensely to making the school the envy of many. In 2021, the School was registered as a Zimbabwe School Examinations Council accredited centre
